We tend to follow the norms of the society and culture from which we are brought up in. I am on a personal journey to find truth in my devout Christian upbringing. My desire is to find that there is truth in it’s origins. I can no longer accept things by faith. No foundation can be built on faith.
I am not a scholar, and I have no credentials. I only have a lifetime of experience in the Christian church.
I have no intention to support or defame any individual, church, organization, or anyone’s belief system. I intend to share my journey as I gain knowledge and a better understanding of why we believe, or don’t.
If you choose to share this journey with me, and I hope that you will, I will be using many sources. Some of the sources you will find are very bias, but most are not. I will share my sources.
I am approaching this journey with a completely open mind. Most people have a strong idea where they stand on my topics. Please keep in mind that opinions are an individual thing, and that there is a difference between fact and opinion.
